Descartes was wrong when he said "I think therefore I am." With that "truth" then our life would consist of the following: Who it is that thinks is who I am and what I think is how I am. No. The truth is I am therefore I enliven my mind to think.
1/30/12
Being numb is not being enlightened. Do you know anyone pursuing the path of numbness and calling it the path to enlightenment?
1/25/12
Are you the one doing your practice or is your small self organizing and controlling your sadhana?
1/23/12
Projecting is a form of smothering.
1/16/12
If we think a vibration motivates or inspires us, we won't want to still it; we probably won't even honestly name it.
1/9/12
This is a Game. The Game. The goal is Infinite Love and Happiness. Where are you on the Game board?
1/2/12
The small self sees being in control as being alive. We can't have love if we want to have control. Do you want control or love? Do you want control or life?
12/26/11
The small self believes it is the center of the universe. It believes that everyone should be accountable to it, and it should be accountable to no one.
12/19/11
God did not give us a game we cannot win.
12/12/11
Don't be negative. Don't be positive. BE.
12/4/11
The goal of sadhana is not the removal of pain; that is just a by-product. The goal of sadhana is to go home to God.
11/27/11
If you want to get rid of the chaos and I mean all the chaos, then redirect your attention into the Heart. And I mean literally redirecting your awareness. This is not a nice idea, this is the Truth, do it right now.
11/21/11
Our small self is a used car salesman who keeps selling himself the same piece of junk.
11/14/11
The small self feels better when it has an identity. Get comfortable with free-fall.
11/7/11
We are the Witness of All. We are not our experiences. Experiences are the smoke and mirrors of sadhana.
10/31/11
There is a big difference between witnessing and dissociating. To witness you must be in the Heart. Dissociating is just staying in your head. One takes you back to who you really are; the other takes you further away from the Truth.
10/28/11
For many of us the most scary costume for Halloween would be our narrative!
10/21/11
Empathy is not resonating with a person. If we are resonating then we are just feeling our own feeling that someone else also has at the same time. Empathy has to do with dispassion, detachment and love. We are not entangled in the other person's feelings, we are detached and are able to feel their feelings. It is about them not us.
10/17/11
The internal practice is not inside the physical body, and that includes the head. Any practice focused on the physical body is strictly for beginners. Nothing wrong with it unless you give it more credit than it deserves. The internal practice is the one that resides in the Heart of the innermost body, the supracausal body. Take your attention through the heart of the physical body, the heart of the subtle body, the heart of the causal body and return to rest in the Heart of the supracausal body. There you will find the blue pearl.
10/10/11
Hell is delusion and suffering. Heaven is true happiness. Purgatory is knowing one from the other, and being conscious that you are reaping what you have sown. The physical plane, the realm of action, is the place of sowing and reaping. If, while here, you confuse pleasure with happiness, you will stray further and further into delusion, and root yourself in hell without even knowing it. You might even delude yourself that you are in heaven.
10/5/11
Do not belittle your life with trite affirmations. Better to live fully and honestly, with the knowledge that God is driving our lessons.
9/29/11
I care about you. Do you care about you? I am fighting for you, and you are fighting me fighting for you.
9/24/11
You have to give up your identity to be who you truly are.
9/19/11
How many times have you assumed people are on the same page as you, only to find they are not even able to read? We assume equality and compatibility when we use the same words as others. The problem is we do not check definitions. This can happen in any situation. You may assume the person who hasn't answered understands and agrees, or you may later find out that someone who used the same vocabulary as you didn't mean the same things at all. Be careful. Ask questions. Do not assume. When we assume we may find ourselves belittling ourselves, our work, and our teachers. And we end up having been fools when we thought we were connecting or even informing.
9/13/11
We are not the doer. Stop pretending.
9/6/11
Letting go of all that we can perceive and going to the Heart, the Perceiver, the pure Subject, is the practice. We then rest consciously and knowingly in our true nature. Everything is then known to be perfect just the way it is.
8/29/11
Do not be attached to your narrative. That only causes defensiveness and projections. Everyone becomes just a character in your narrative. Shut everything up and only focus on God. That is the only solution. Everything else just feeds into the story. The choice: either God or your narrative. What's your goal?
8/23/11
Control is the small self protecting its most cherished beliefs about itself and the world. If someone trips a wire around a core belief of the small self, look out. The small self will attack, and will insist that it is only defending itself or being fair.
8/19/11
Do not be embarrassed that you practice or that you have a practice. There is nothing wrong with loving God and working to go home.
8/13/11
When we want to embrace something, we tend to struggle taking it in. If we were to just empty ourselves of all other vibrations, embracing would be so simple. Can you hear and feel your vibrations? Now still them by focusing your consciousness on them and letting them go. Now you can embrace.
8/7/11
No matter where we are, God is everywhere. And since God is everywhere, we should always be practicing to experience Truth wherever we are.
8/3/11
Even on vacation we should practice.
7/29/11
The ultimate sacrifice is stilling the small self and letting God play. Then we are actually playing.
7/24/11
Use the heat to still.
7/19/11
We have to get used to joy. The most uncomfortable experience for the small self is joy and true love. So practice and watch your small self squirm. Once we get used to joy the small self dissolves back into the ocean.
7/15/11
Guru Purnima, the Guru's full moon is tonight. Swami Muktananda was/ is a true Guru. He saved my life and I owe everything. The Guru shows us the way back to ourSelves. He hears what is best for us, even while we are still listening to our small self. The Guru teaches us how to listen to our true Self. Glory to the Guru.
7/11/11
The real world to the small self is whatever it decides the world is. That real world is different for each of us. And that difference itself is a clue that our "real world" is not Real.
7/4/11
We seek independence in order to be free. Our wrong understanding, our shrunken knowledge, imprisons us. Even intellectual knowledge with no grounding binds us. True Knowledge is Being not knowing. Be careful what you grab onto, thinking it will free you when in fact you may be locking yourself in.
7/2/11
I am not a cheerleader for the small self. Do not be one either. Return Home and be free.
6/26/11
New Age affirmations will not bring you true joy. Because they confuse the Absolute and the relative, they only promote a happy small self. Affirming the small self does not bring us closer to God.
6/19/11
We fight all the time. Torment is a form of fighting. It is fighting against the acceptance of Reality.
6/13/11
Let go of all your assessments. Let go of assessing. Unless you are resting in the Self, your small self will do the assessing and will usually be wrong.
6/9/11
Small self believes it creates, sustains, and worships God. Small self believes God is contained in small self's own limitless limitedness.
6/4/11
Having a "good talk" may soothe your small self, but it solves nothing. The real work must happen inwardly, in silence.
6/1/11
The greatest worship is silence.
5/29/11
Each of us is so sure that our small self sees the world the way it really is, and we all use reason to confirm our view. When the small self is sure, look out.
5/22/11
If something is very complicated, that does not mean it is deep or even intelligent. Beware of overdifferentiation. In the same way, if something is simple, that does not mean it is superficial. Watch out for what really matters. Deep is deep and superficial is superficial. It is that simple!
5/15/11
Baba's Birthday. I bow to my Guru. I love my Guru with all my heart. May I always obey my Guru.
5/12/11
People should not be projects.
5/9/11
Do not forget the goal is to be who we really are. When we remember this, it is not so painful giving up everything we are not.
5/4/11
Only in the Absolute are we all equal.
4/28/11
Holding on takes so much effort, and we are actually holding on to a mirage.
4/21/11
Sexual pleasure is the small self's version of Enlightenment. Nothing wrong with lovemaking; just don't make it something it's not.
4/18/11
The True Self is not your good self. Anyone who tells you to be your best self does not understand the Self at all.
4/15/11
Striving for a happy good small self is no different from striving for a happy bad small self. Both bring us misery and pain.
4/10/11
To be quiet, we must give up our attachment to the fight between good and bad small self. Let each have its say and then let both go.
4/3/11
Duality is God creating an imaginary friend.
3/28/11
Yoga is the practice of shutting up. So shut up.
3/22/11
It is not about how the world works. It is about how the world works in relation to your karma.
3/20/11
Serve by boring into the Heart and stilling. We then will reach the ground water. Be and connect with all of us.
3/17/11
When the Haiti Earthquake occurred I gave a talk on how we could help. Ray made a file of those instructions. I have posted it for downloading under the chant section. Let us contribute not only to Japan, but also to wherever there is pain, misery and turmoil.
3/14/11
Sadhana is not easy. True practice is hard and takes a long time. The result: we return to ourSelves and Home again. Worth every second of hard work.
3/11/11
Alone in the limited sense is separate. Alone in the absolute sense is all embracing.
3/6/11
The lower self is all about a delusional narrative. You have to know your own narrative. Ask yourself, "What is my narrative?" See your narrative and start saying, "I'm wrong."
3/2/11
The small self thinks it is normal and that practice is weird.
2/24/11
We need to know what vehicle we are enlivening and how it functions, so that we do not delude ourselves into thinking something is Real when it is not.
2/20/11
We tend to think we are discerning when in fact we are only judging. Discerning and judging come from different places. At least know where you are. If you find yourself dichotomising, you are probably in the small self and just judging.
2/16/11
If you think you are practicing, you are not.
2/12/11
You can enliven your vehicles while remaining in the Heart.
2/7/11
What is out there is just your reflection. Don't get lost in it, no matter how glorious it is. We must return to our true Self, which is the Perceiver of that reflection.
1/31/11
People who seek pleasure and call it love or happiness end up in misery, with neither love nor happiness. Know the difference between pleasure and love.
1/27/11
Do not be afraid to face what you have in front of you. Face it, learn from it, act appropriately, and then you can move on. If we run, we run into that which we flee and it will be worse than if we had faced it the first time. Have courage.
1/25/11
The knower (we) appears to mistake the faculty of knowing for being.
1/19/11
Familiar and safe are not the same thing. What feels familiar is often unsafe--we're just accustomed to it.
1/14/11
Going in is not going away.
1/9/11
In order to have joy, let go of the ups and downs. Joy is in the Heart. The ups and downs are in the head.
1/6/11
All our delusions are about taking care of ourselves. But what self are we taking care of?
12/31/10
Happy New Year! The Supreme Spirit is in everything. To reject things is to reject God. Not being worldly does not mean rejecting the world. It means living in the world without attachment, knowing that the manifested universe is transitory, though from the standpoint of the Absolute it is God.
12/27/10
If you are having difficulty getting into the Heart, then surrender to your head and say, "You win. What do you have to tell me?". With nothing to fight, it will have nothing to say.
12/24/10
People who hide cannot receive. Open up and receive the joy and love of the holiday.
12/19/10
Our first "caregivers" tend to enhance our life lessons, not teach us how to overcome our life lessons.
12/12/10
Through dispassion comes joy. Are you willing to have joy?
12/6/10
Assumptions do not mean you know.
12/1/10
'Overfamiliar' is not intimate it is invasive. Watch out.
11/25/10
Be thankful. God gives us everyday everything we need to be happy.
11/21/10
Muktananda used to say "Love everyone, trust no one."
11/15/10
God is the only one who can and does multitask.
11/12/10
The only way to redemption is by giving up our individuality.
11/7/10
Another clue we are operating from and in our small self is when we are trolling for pleasure instead of seeking joy and happiness.
11/1/10
Another clue we are operating from and in our small self is when we are defensive.
10/29/10
Don't check-in. Be in.
10/24/10
Another clue that you are in the small self is "processing". If you are spinning around verbally in order to figure something out, discussing forever the same thing with yourself and everyone you possibly can, you are in the small self. The small self is working through the problem, not you. If you really wanted to work through the problem you would first still and then listen from the depths. Then the small self would not be involved in the process.
10/20/10
The small self is so savvy. Handles the real world so well. Don't you agree?
!0/17/10
The goal of sadhana is not ending up with an all-powerful, all-knowing small self.
10/12/10
What is a big clue we are 'in' our small self? All our energy is in the mask.
10/7/10
We all fall, we all fail. Since this is a given, the question should be how do we return after the fall? If we do not know the way back we are blown here and there by our small self. Even worse is not knowing the difference between "who we are" when we are fallen and who we truly are. If we do not KNOW the difference, we cannot return home. We must strive to know home; then we must learn the pathway back and forth. That gives us the ability to choose to go home and to stay at HOME.
10/4/10
Why do we allow the small self to hijack credit for what the Self does?
9/30/10
Do you control the situation to be "out of control"?
9/26/10
Purified desire is good will. The more we retrace our way inward, the more we are in harmony with God's Will.
9/22/10
Burn up attachment to both good and bad action.
9/18/10
Non-attachment is not the lower self dissociating. Non-attachment is the true Self loving appropriately.
9/14/10
Self esteem is Chuckie's opinion of himself.
9/11/10
Live your life, not your idea of your life.
9/6/10
We are all equal from the standpoint of the true Self. Let us practice this. We have differences from the the standpoint of manifestation. Let us practice this. Do no confuse the two. When we do practice correctly we are all members of the Lords' Club and we willingly play our different parts.
9/1/10
Don't let the small self choose Hell for you.
8/27/10
Spiritual Practice is not a "lifestyle." Spiritual Practice is internal. Live your life and practice.
8/21/10
Lose your small self in pure Consciousness. Jump.
8/13/10
If we want to listen to ourselvesand perceive our authentic answers, we have to be still. We have to be still and at least moving toward the Heart. Otherwise we are just in our Foursquare.
8/8/10
Beware of worship of the senses. They will end your life in complete misery.
8/2/10
While you are reading this I hope you are practicing. You are, aren't you? Good. Continue.
7/28/10
You don't have to be alone to practice. Don't go live in a cave. Practice with people around you.
7/21/10
Fact: If you want your demons to go away, you have to still them. Do not fight them. That only feeds the demons. Then they have a really good time and you do not. Still the demons and they will go away.
7/18/10
Shut up. Shut everything up in your head. All quiet. Shut it all up. Now redirect your attention down and in, to the Heart. Now rest there. Thank you.
7/15/10
Until we become human, we don't live our lives--we live our foursquares.
7/9/10
What we are controlled by, we use to control others.
7/2/10
Yes, it hurts. Yes, this is hard work. Yes, this brings true independence. Do not be afraid of practice and where we are going. Be afraid of not practicing and therefore where we remain. Keep practicing. Love is there when we still it all.
6/27/10
As we let go there will be fear, sadness, and a holding on. If we persevere and continue to let go of our vibrations Love and joy will arise. Keep going, the Love is there. Do not let the fear, sadness and holding on keep us from experiencing the Truth.
6/25/10
We can't dissolve a foursquare if we are still in it.
6/21/10
Melanie says that the small self is on a stationary bike, telling us we are moving, going somewhere. We are going nowhere. We are just pedaling.
6/13/10
The small self is a soup of vibrations. It has no real existence, but we keep those vibrations going. We can't still those vibrations until we feel them. And most of the time we don't feel them. We are not conscious of them; we just think we're being who we are. "I am just being myself."
In order to dissolve the small self, we must become conscious of those vibrations, objectify them as something outside us, and still them by withdrawing attention and energy out of them back to the pure Subject so that the pure I stands alone.
6/7/10
The small self is both a perceiver and an object at different times. The true Self is only a perceiver, never an object.
6/2/10
When we become conscious of a vibration as something separate from us, only then do we have the choice to renounce it.
5/28/10
Don't let Deception, Unconsciousness and Misery inform your life and actions. Still the small self and you will uncover Truth, Consciousness and Bliss. Then the True Self will inform your life and actions.
5/23/10
We need to practice the containment of the small self, not the contentment of the small self.
5/21/10
The small self’s nature is deception, unconsciousness, and misery. Our True Nature is Sat-Cit-Ananda: Truth, Consciousness and Bliss. Truth, Consciousness and Bliss are the solution to our condition. By practicing Truth, Consciousness and Bliss as opposed to deception, unconsciousness and misery, we uncover our True Nature and dissolve the small self. Sat-Cit-Ananda is both the goal and the process.
5/16/10
If you are disturbed, if there is mental pain, dispair, or nervousness, it is a clue that you have a distracted mind. Don’t judge your experience, but neither should you “try to be okay with it.” That would be just numbing, and would perpetuate the problem. Once you have recognized where you really are, you must go through the steps to still the mind; then the symptoms will go away. Practice is not trying to be okay with your attachments. That does not work. Why would you want to cling to agitation or depression? Instead, redirect your attention back to God.
5/14/10
Don't let your lower self do your sadhana.
5/9/10
We are actors, not the parts we play.
5/5/10
We cannot unravel our program without hearing our authentic answers. We hear them better when we are "willing" to unravel the small self.
4/30/10
We are loyal to the people who fool us.
4/25/10
The "right" answer is not always the authentic answer.
4/22/10
We have to choose not to choose Hell.
4/20/10
We have to renounce to get freedom.
4/15/10
Vigilance does not mean being fearful or anxious or worried. Vigilance means being conscious and aware.
4/11/10
We are not magicians. Transform what you actually can: you.
4/4/10
Don't be an experience junkie. Like anything else, they come and go. Experiences mean only that you are having experiences. God is not an experience. God is.
3/28/10
Our job is not to fight our small self. Our job is to redirect our attention to the true Self.
3/22/10
Stress is not heroic.
3/17/10
The lower self looks for someone else to love it for its own special individuality. That shrunken love will never satisfy us. We will remain lonely and miserable until we give up substituting drama for Love.
3/13/10
Take the drama out of the Drama. Then the lower self is no longer special. Our lower selves believe they are so special that their dramas trump everything else, and must be maintained at all costs. And they prefer this to substance and Love.
Homework: choose one incident, person, environment, or other experience that occasions a drama for you, and take the drama out of it. Redirect your attention to the true Self. Get to neutral (nonattached), neither positive nor negative.
3/8/10
Yogas chitta-vritti-nirodhah. Yoga is the inhibition of the vibrations of the field of consciousness. Yoga Sutra 1.2.
This is stilling everything all the way back to the beginning of manifestation. We have to disentangle out of our vehicles and still all vibrations, not just thoughts.
Restrain. Control. Master. Transcend.
3/3/10
If we practice to get into the Heart and then rest there, all our problems will be resolved within us. The outer manifestation will do whatever it is going to do. Inwardly, we will know how to proceed, and will act appropriately.
2/26/10
Following our dharma is the Sacrifice.
2/22/10
Five-Fold-Action------Learn it.
God emanates, we project. God maintains and relishes, we obsess. God withdraws and dissolves, we dissociate and destroy. God conceals His true nature from Himself, we delude ourselves. God reveals Himself to Himself, we think we know who we are, we have insight.
2/17/10
Stop looking for your path. You have a path already. Walk it.
2/11/10
Challenges on the outside, such as massive snowstorms, test our internal mettle. These challenges show us where we are internally--or how internal we are. Yoga Sutras 2:18--Objective reality exists for the purpose of experience and liberation.
2/8/10
In our delusion, the Seer appears to be the Seen; then the Seen appears to be the Subject.
2/5/10
Be with your experience. Let whatever comes up come up. And function efficiently and appropriately on the physical plane.
2/1/10
Many believe having everything going "our" way is spiritual. No. Being non-attached to pain and pleasure is where we want to be. As we practice, we may find that we handle the issues in our life appropriately and discover them receding from our every day. To then think we are "done" is an error. We are now free to handle the issues remaining in our vehicles, the seeds that will grow again—if we ignore them—into the problems of life.
The goal of spiritual practice is to return to our true nature, not to have everything be our idea of rosy. We are to still "our" vibrations so that God, our true nature, will be living life.
1/29/10
"I need a break". What does that mean, a break from what? Does the small self want a break from the discipline, from the practice, from the prison? Does the small self want to be out playing?
What we really need is to break from the small self.
Turn in. Go deep within the Heart, beyond the vehicles that obscure the true nature, and rest. Rest in the Self of All. Now that is a permanent break. A permanent break from hell. Learn to rest there and then learn to live there. We will not need or want "a break" anymore.
1/25/10
Our true nature is Love. We twist it so it comes out distorted and shrunken. When we work back to our true nature, our love becomes pure and limitless.
1/22/10
The small self "wants" to be imperfect, separate, and the doer.
1/17/10
Wherever there is pain and disaster, it is our pain and disaster. Our job may not be to go and physically help; we may not have the skill set to do that. Our job is not to use disaster as a conversation topic to show our "compassion". Our job is twofold.
First, we are to donate money and time (if possible) to people who do have the skill set to help. However, remember St. Barsanuphius and St. John in the Philokalia: "If a man is asked for something he has not got, he will not be judged for not giving what is asked of him....In the same way, if a man has only enough of something for his immediate needs, he must not give it away in alms, lest it happens that later, in time of want, he suffers affliction, being unable to bear privations."
Second, because these people are in truth us, we can bore deeply within our Hearts to the place where there is no time or space, and redirect our awareness toward the suffering. At first this will do nothing, but eventually, with regular practice, we can actually contribute love as a sustaining force, not just a nice idea. This is done without saying anything to anyone or allowing the small self to take pride in any way. We practice it without looking to see the results. We are learning to give to Us.
1/12/10
The irony is that we go outside ourselves to find freedom, only to become limited and contracted. We believe we are expanding when we are outward turned. The truth is freedom and expansion come to us only when we turn within and find that still point. How full we are then, how free, how joyous. Why do we continue to look in the wrong direction? Funny isn't it, we still do.
1/8/10
The tendency in spiritual practice is to be attached to the "good" qualities and repulsed by the "bad" qualities. Our job is to be non-attached to all qualities. They are relative and temporal, not who we are but how we are. We practice to learn to use our qualities and not be used by them. Remember, we are the perceiver, not the perceived. If you can perceive it, it cannot be you.
1/5/10
In order to win we must surrender to God. We believe we have control and free will, but in truth our free will is our ability to choose to do it God's way, to merge with God's will. How do we do this? By letting go of all that is not eternal and then surrendering to the eternal, God. We are the Seer not the Seen. Remember no matter how subtle it is, if we can perceive it, it cannot be who we are.
1/1/10
The practice is hidden in plain sight. As the veils drop, we recognize that it has always been there.
12/28/09
It is not that Chuckie (small self) does not matter. He IS matter.
12/25/09
Who says we need to be stressed to have a holiday? Stress is pressure plus excitement or anxiety. So remove the pressure by backing off and disentangling from what we are attached to, still the vibration that is left and let the joy arise.
12/19/09
"The only thing that consoles us for our miseries is diversion, and yet it is the greatest of our miseries." --Blaise Pascal
12/15/09
If we are responsible for All, then we are responsible for All. For example, if I like the experience of disappointment, (and I know this because I experience disappointment a good deal of the time) then I have to have people in my world that are "disappointing me". If no one is around, I can always disappoint myself!
As we practice, we have the opportunity to see our "favorites" and can work not to use anyone or anything as the incidental cause. From there we can just have our favorite experience on its own. Finally we can still all since we are and were responsible for the experience in the first place. We have choice. It is amazing how free we can become when we shift the responsibility from outside to ourselves.
12/6/09
We cannot master something we have not studied. Seems obvious--however, there are people who believe they are experts when in fact they are just beginners. Do not get me wrong: I love being a beginner and I love beginners. I am speaking about beginners who believe they are knowledgeable. We need to know where we are and move from there. We then need to learn and own what we want to master. We arrive at mastery after a long arduous road, and still the journey is not over. We still need to transcend what we have mastered in order to complete our course of study.
What has happened to apprenticeship? Since we are all "equal" and "experts" already, we will not recognize that we need a master to learn. How sad.
11/26/09
For Americans, today is Thanksgiving. What are we as Americans to be thankful for? We can be thankful that we can choose to practice looking into our Hearts and out at the World simultaneously. We can be thankful that we choose to see God immanent and transcendent. We can be thankful that we can practice seeing God in each other. We can be thankful for all the lessons God is giving us so that we can learn to be with God and in God. Each of us is being given exactly what we need to learn and then to rest in our true nature. Is this any different for anyone else in this world? Should not every day be approached this way? So as we move through this time let us remember to be thankful and learn to carry practice into all our days.

Talking to "God" keeps us from truly being with God. Surrender.

Passive is not neutral. Have you ever been with someone who is passive? Did you feel neutral, still and peaceful around them? Or were you the counter point, feeling agitated and annoyed? Passive IS NOT neutral.

The Philokalia fills us with the reminder that century after century the practice has been shared. And century after century few listen. That does not mean it is not true or valid. If we all practiced there would be no Hell, the game would be over. Then what would we do? Let us find out. As the desert fathers practiced: guard the Heart and still the mind. Truly amazing, though expressed differently, the Truth is the Truth, is the Truth.

This week the practice moves through the emotions. Own all of them by truly accepting you have ALL emotions. We must break them down into subtle parts. We don't just have anger; we have rage, irritation, agitation, or some other subset of anger. Our job is to know and recognize what our vehicles are doing. We practice by being with the emotion or feeling of the moment. Our attention is in the emotion in our Heart and we just sit with it. Then we can begin the practice of stilling these vibrations called emotions. Stilling can happen when we do not run from our internal experience, but remain with it and watch it disappear. This will occur either quickly or slowly. It does not matter. By practicing we are on the way, the timetable is not important. The process is freeing, so do not run from the practice of returning home to your true nature.
